The studio provides a calm, private and comfortable environment where we can focus entirely on you and the people you love. With beautiful light, simple styling and carefully chosen details, the aim is to create photographs that feel elegant, natural and timeless.

MATERNITY

Pregnancy is such a unique and fleeting chapter of life. Your body is changing, your family is growing, and you are waiting to meet the little person who will soon become such an important part of your world.

A maternity session is an opportunity to pause and celebrate this incredible journey.

Whether you want something soft and intimate, elegant and timeless, or more artistic and creative, your session can be designed around you and your personal style.

We can capture beautiful portraits that celebrate your pregnancy, as well as the quiet connection between you and your baby before you have even met.

For couples and families, your partner and children can also be included.

NEWBORN

Rather than focusing on complicated poses, we keep things gentle and baby-led. Your baby can be held close, wrapped softly, cuddled in your arms or simply allowed to settle naturally.

We take our time and work around your baby's needs. If they need a feed, a cuddle, a change or a little extra time to settle, we simply pause. There is no pressure and no rush.

Parents and siblings are an important part of the newborn session too. We can capture those first cuddles, little hands touching the baby, quiet moments with Mum and Dad, sibling connections and beautiful photographs of your family together.

Awake moments, sleepy cuddles, tiny stretches, little yawns and those beautiful newborn expressions are all part of the story.

MOTHERHOOD

Motherhood deserves to be photographed too.

So often, mothers are behind the camera, taking the photographs and documenting everyone else's memories. A motherhood session is an opportunity to step into the photographs and celebrate this chapter of your life.

These images can be soft and intimate, beautifully simple and completely focused on the connection between you and your child.

There is no need to feel like you have to know how to pose. I will gently guide you through natural movements and interactions while allowing the connection between you and your child to take centre stage.

A motherhood session can be about the little things — the way your child reaches for you, the way they curl into your arms, a kiss on their forehead, a quiet cuddle or simply the way you look at each other.

FAMILY

Outdoor and lifestyle sessions are about capturing you in a natural, relaxed way — surrounded by beautiful light, meaningful places and the people or moments that matter to you. Whether you're expecting a baby, celebrating your relationship, documenting your family as it grows, or simply want beautiful photographs of yourself, these sessions are created around you and your story.

Sessions can take place outdoors at a local park or another location in and around Inverness, or in the relaxed and familiar setting of your own home.

LIFESTYLE AT HOME

If being outdoors isn't your thing, we can bring the session into your own home.

Lifestyle photography at home is relaxed, personal and completely connected to your everyday life.

For families, this might mean cuddling on the sofa, playing with the children, reading together, baking, having breakfast or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon.

For couples, it could be making coffee together, cooking dinner, listening to music, laughing in the kitchen or enjoying a quiet moment at home.

Short, simple and designed to capture beautiful memories in a relaxed studio setting.

Studio Mini Sessions are perfect for a variety of occasions and can be tailored to suit you. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, capturing your children as they grow, marking a special season or holiday, updating your family photographs, or simply wanting beautiful portraits, we can create a session around your idea.

Each mini session takes place in my studio, where we can create a carefully styled setting to suit your chosen theme.

Your session

Before your session, we will discuss your theme, colours, styling and overall idea so that everything can be prepared in advance. The theme must be agreed before the session to ensure the studio setup and props are ready for you when you arrive.

These sessions are intentionally short and relaxed, making them a great option for children who may not enjoy being in front of the camera for long periods of time

During the session, we can make use of 1–2 different prop or setup changes, depending on your chosen theme. This gives you a little variety while keeping the session fun, simple and focused.

There is no need to worry about complicated posing. I will gently guide you where needed while allowing children and families to interact naturally and comfortably.
